Jonathan Casas
Jonathan’s musical experience
spans more than 30 years and includes leading worship for five churches, participating in professional and university choirs,
marching bands, jazz bands, musicals, numerous solo and duet performances, as well as writing, arranging, sequencing, and
recording music. He has received countless awards and honors for vocal and piano performances, and has also taught piano and
guitar lessons. Jonathan’s interest in Christian music started in the early 1980’s when he began performing special
music in churches up and down the West coast. However, his interest got a major boost when he discovered the song stylings
of Michael W. Smith, a contemporary Christian artist. God used Michael’s music to begin uncovering a plan for Jonathan’s
life. Soon Jonathan realized that God was to use him to “Impact The World Through The Heart Of Worship”. That
became Jonathan’s motto early in ministry and has continued to be the driving force and center of his commitment to
leading people in worship. Jonathan has a strong passion for people to engage in honest worship and experience a true touch
of God. Jonathan was born and raised in Santa Cruz, California where Jonathan met and married his childhood high school sweetheart
in 1998. They have two children.
